We are a new family who wants to enroll our children in Swedish school. What do we have to do?

How big are the classes?
We limit the younger classes to a maximum of 12 students.
Only one parent speaks Swedish, can we still register our children?
All children who have 'Swedish as a living language at home' are welcome.
What is the Cultural Fund?
The purpose of the cultural fund is to offer temporary support to families who have difficulty paying the semester fee. Continuous language instruction is seen as very important for developing good language skills and the Swedish school's goal is to support the children's Swedish language development while also being an important bridge between Swedish families in Washington DC and Swedish culture. The school therefore plays not only an academic role but also offers an important social community and social support for many Swedish families in Washington, DC. Applications for support must be received by December 20 for the spring semester or August 20 for the fall semester.
