Welcome to the Swedish School for Children in the
Washington, DC area

The Swedish School for Children welcomes Swedish speaking children between the ages of 5 and 18 of all nationalities.  They need not be completely fluent, but it is a requirement that the child can understand the teacher and participate in Swedish.  Swedish should be one of the languages spoken in the child’s home.  It is not part of our mission to teach Swedish as a foreign language.
